Hi TivoZA,

I followed the instructions above and managed to get streaming TiVo content on my PC.

Problem is it played for 46 seconds then stopped and I lost network access. The only way I could get network access again was to reboot the TiVo manually.

Tried again and reached 46 seconds again but exactly the same thing happened.

Any tips so as to resolve this?

Thanks Smile

Tried again but only got as far as 1min 22sec. Once it stops streaming I can't access the TiVo with putty or TiVoWeb unless I reboot the TiVo. Hmm..

Seemed to have resolved it. Must have been a timing issue as I changed the network card timing from optimal to normal and now seems to work 100%.

That is great. You running it on Windows XP? I have tried to get it working with Vista and Windows 7 RC but I failed horribly! Smile

I'm running XP SP2. Streaming is working using the view link. Also, TyTool works. For some reason I always get a socket error with Nanvue but I'm guessing it's not really essential to have Nanvue working.

Hi guys. I get a runtime error with Media Player and then it crashes. Any ideas?

Just an update on this one.

I finally managed to get streaming working on Windows 7 (64bit). I followed the instructions in this thread below to register the .ty extensions etc.

http://tivoza.nanfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1406

With the new ozTivo image vserver is not enabled by default so you need to go and change the "NO" to a "YES" in etc\sysinit.conf (and restart Tivo). If you don't start vserver you will get an error from media player saying something about a runtime error.

Just for the record I also have the KLite codec pack installed and tried first with the Media Player Classic that comes included. This worked fine. I then tried with WMP11 (or whatever the latest version is) and it failed with some error about plugins. I tried it again later and it worked fine and has been ok ever since.
