It is now possible to have a TiVo running in South Africa, this website provides all the information and help needed for getting things working. The necessary guide data is provided through this service and allows for users of SABC, e.tv, M-NET, DSTV, DSTV Compact, DSTV Dual View and even the DSTV PVR. There are some really great apps & hacks for the TiVo enabling such things as streaming video to your PC, extract recordings to DVD, set up recordings via the internet, on screen telephone Caller-ID. You can even write your own apps to run on the TiVo, so your options are unlimited.
