Adding Remote Codes

There are two options for getting the remote codes working if you input device (i.e. VCR) isn't supported, see the IR Codes page for supported devices. The first option is the easiest option and requires finding the correct codes on remotecentral.com then converting them into the correct format for the TiVo.

  (Note: you can use the "IR Convert" page to convert Pronto codes to TiVo format)

The second option is more complex and is only needed if you are unable to find existing codes for your device, it involves using your TiVo to capture the codes to a file and then converting the captured codes into a usable format for your TiVo.
