emuProxyZA acts as a proxy server for TiVo guide data downloads, it includes a number of other useful features as listed below.

Features:

• Accessing the server/emulator through transparent proxies (based on emuProxy2 by Tim Kleingeld)
• Server/emulator can be specified as a DNS addresses (http://tivoza.nanfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=237) or as a static IP addresses (DNS support based on the tivodns library by Christopher R. Wingert)
• Requests can be routed through other proxy servers (http://tivoza.nanfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=180#1268) including those requiring a user-name & password
• An alternate NTP address (i.e. time server) can be specified
• Return NTP time can be offset by a specified amount of minutes
• The days of the week on which connections should be allowed through can be specified (dial-up users should use the SpecifiedDaysZA (http://tivoza.nanfo.com/wiki/index.php/SpecifiedDaysZA) script)
• The name of the current file being downloaded can be displayed on-screen (requires autospace (http://tivoza.nanfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=98) to be enabled)
• Allows limiting the number of guide days to download (only possible if your provider/emulator supports it). It's great for users on dial-up, the TivoZA emulator supplies 30 days of guide data by default which even gzipped can be 2MB for the full download.
• Truncates the 'mlog.cgi' request, 'mlog.cgi' requests fail when the 'svclog' file is too large
• Fix Series 1 LocationID problem (i.e. how to use shorter LocationID's)
• HTTP header fix (added to emuProxy3 by Warren Toomey)
• Allow full traces of the requests sent and the responses received, great for debugging (http://tivoza.nanfo.com/wiki/index.php/Troubleshooting_connectivity_problems)
